Other Bike companies have racing teams. We have the
Flight Crew. Ten citizen riders who might race-- or not--
but who definitely happen to share our passion for All Things
Two-Wheeled.
Best of all, Flight Crew members are also talented writers,
photographers, videographers, bloggers and all-around brand
evangelists who bring you a rider's-eye-view of what it's like to
actually use (and occasionally abuse) Airborne bikes. Click on the
pictures or names below to meet the Flight Crew members and see for
yourself.

Tony Caruso's a twenty-five year veteran of
mountain biking and co-owner of The 2nd Street Bike
Stop Cafe in Historic St. Charles Missouri. An
ex-motocrosser with a passion for technical hill climbing, stunts
and remote deep wood epic rides, Tony is a group ride leader for
The St. Louis
Adventure Group where he organizes beginner to advanced rides
on every kind of riding surface. Tony is a versatile cyclist who
rides year around and participates in trail building, cross country
racing, urban/off-road freeriding, commuting and bringing new
riders into the sport through technical riding clinics and
supporting efforts such as the IMBA's Take a Kid Mountain
Biking day.

Dan Lucas is a hardcore gravity rider
(we used him as our photo model for our Taka* and Wingman bike
shoots this year) as well as being Base Camp Director and Bike
instructor at Wilderness Adventure at
Eagle Landing. He's married with a young daughter and proudly
claims to have "a chainring scar on my right butt cheek."

Greg Heil pursues a degree in English,
Writing, & Publication at North Georgia College & State
University. When not riding bikes or blogging at the award-winning
Greg Rides Trails
blogsite, he's also a regular contributor- not to mention resident
videographer- at Singletracks.com.

Kevin
Bonney. What can you say about a guy who shows up at the
Sea Otter DS with a big sign that says 'ROOST MY BANANA'?
How about In addition to having a birthday that comes only on
Leap Year, Kevin's a CAT 1 XC rider in both collegiate and
non-collegiate racing and is moving up in the cyclocross bunch.
He's started his sophomore year at the University of Missouri
Columbia this fall, where he majors in mechanical engineering.
Kevin's dream job involves becoming an engineer in the bike
industry.

Marty
Tank. In addition to being Official Videographer of
America's Largest Mountain Bike Racing Series (WORS, the Wisconsin
Off Road Series) Marty (prounounced Mar-TAY, at least by
Eric) is an avid racer and rider as well as a member of the IMBA
National Mountain Bike Patrol. He's married (sorry, ladies) with
two young daughters and lives in the Milwaukee, WI area. Marty's
ultimate goal is to win a CAT 2 XC mountain bike race wearing baggy
shorts.

"Big Todd"
Haskins, Our resident Sasquatch (6'4"). Todd's a
professional bike shop mechanic, cancer survivor, 29er advocate,
and the inspiration behind our bestselling Goblin model (the
working name for it in the
prototype phase was "Big Todd").

Wendy Davis is a 40-something mom who
saw the light and began mountain biking in 2007 as a get-in-shape
effort following the birth of her daughter, Syd. Wendy races both
single-speed and geared bikes as Team Seagal's only female member
("I put the "gal" in 'Team Seagal,'" she jokes) under the nom
de guerre of Sasha Petrosevich (go ahead, look it up.
We did). She enjoys writing about her bikes, racing, and
other bizarre and occasionally bone-shattering outdoor adventures.
The name of her blog should give you an idea of her, um, ecelectic
tastes.

Brent
Davidson If Kevin's the one with the
"Banana" sign, Brent's the one in
the Banana Suit. Brent rides most anything with two wheels and
rubber on the bottom. Originally entering cycling through trials
riding and moving last into road, he's taken a unique path in
cycling, logging rides on many trails, roads and most things in
between. Brent rides for the U
of Missouri cycling team as a collegiate nationals level XC and
dual slalom racer while pursuing a dual major in journalism and
finance.

Jerry Hazard. Professional
photo/videographer, self-described "bike bum," and Durango, CO
resident. Jerry's had his work published in numerous bike magazines
and even been featured on the cover of Dirt Rag, but "my
biggest claim to fame," he says, "is shopping at the same grocery
store as Ned Overend."

Neal Bryant, or as we like to call him,
Neal's On Wheels. An entry-level freerider, self-described
"funhog," and professional videographer from West Monroe, LA
recently relocated to Hollywood (talk about culture shock!) The
Airborne staff spotted Neal when he purchased a Marauder bike from
us online and immediately began posting weekly video updates of his
adventures learning the sport. Since then he's developed rapidly as
both a rider and Flight Crew member, as you can see from his
videos.
