Downhill & Freeride
Downhill and Freeride are two very different disciplines that happen to use very similar bikes. Both demand a gravity-fueled ballistic frame design coupled with 8” of suspension travel. But while the object of Downhill is to get from top to bottom—including tight corners, wheel-gobbling rock gardens, and hair-raising gaps, chutes, & drops—in the least time possible, the object of Freeride is to do all those things and more…only measured against style points instead of a stopwatch.
