All Mountain (AM)
AM bikes are intended to be everything the name implies. Light enough to let you earn your turn, beefy enough to make it back down again. Made for epic all-day rides where you might encounter everything from tarmac to gravel to singletrack to rock gardens to just about anything dished out by Planet Dirt. Beefier construction than Trail or XC bikes, with bigger rotors on the brakes and 6-7” of dual suspension travel, a good AM rig also works well for light Freeride duties on steeps, skinnies, gaps, and up-to-shoulder-high drops.
